Welding Inspection

Manufacturers are required to verify that their welding procedures are appropriate for the selected construction materials and that their welders can perform these welding procedures with skill due to legal and customer requirements. As a result, manufacturers' procedures and welders' abilities should be approved and certified at all times. The materials are also inspected to ensure that their chemical and mechanical properties are within acceptable limits. This has resulted in a requirement for material certificate verification.

We offer important welding procedure and welder expertise testing and certification services. Each welding procedure is assessed to ensure that it is both appropriate and safe. If these capabilities are not available in your company, our welding engineers can assist you in improving your procedures. When a procedure is approved, we put it to the test with the customer's welders to see if they can follow it.

We provide material certification services by conducting on-site welding inspections, surveillance inspections, or detailed inspections during production and providing BSEN certification. Following successful certification, a 3.2 certificate is issued, as defined in EN 10204 "Metallic Products-Types of Inspection Certificates." Our inspectors keep a close eye on the entire testing process to ensure the materials' integrity.

Legal requirements necessitate traceability.

If a customer has non-traceable material, we can help them by authenticating it with a reputable lab. We also have the authority to inspect and approve material transfers and certificates.

  • Before beginning any welding job, welding contractors and fabricators require welding procedures (new builds or repairs). It also needs to make certain that its welders are fully qualified for the job.

  • Buyers can also request that third-party weld documents be reviewed to ensure that they meet their specifications and other regulatory requirements.
